Updates on district plans and the Coronavirus

Updated: Monday, March 30, 2020

All of our buildings will be closed through Friday, May 1st. This is a mandatory closing period directed by the Governor for all districts in the state to be closed.

This closure could last longer.

During this time, please encourage your child (or children) to practice safe hygiene, refrain from being in groups and follow the guidelines in the graphics below.

Students are not permitted in the buildings during this time.

There will be no school events, sports practices or contests during this time period.   While the track is open to the public, we ask that students work out in no more than pairs, and maintain distance if more than a few students are there.  Playgrounds are closed.

Quarter 3 grades have been finalized and report cards have been mailed home.

Students should visit building and teacher pages for assignments once again beginning Monday, March 30th.  It is important that parents encourage their children to stay active and participate in these lessons and activities.

- Nolley resources have been posted on the Nolley page.

- Instructions for lessons and videos for students have been posted on MMS and MHS pages.

"Take and go" breakfast and lunch bags are being provided at no cost for all students grade K-12, and will resume on Monday, March 30th from 10:00-11:00 am. Students or parents can pull up outside of the MHS cafeteria kitchen doors.  Please see details on the related article here.

Please reach out to your local providers if you do not have internet access at home, as many companies are offering free connection during this time.

If you need assistance, please call the central office at 330-882-6926, or send an email to your building administrator.
