Today is the Varsity Academic Awards virtual assembly!

We will be on the morning assembly schedule, and students who are being recognized will be called down to the gym around 9:00 a.m. to prepare for the presentations.  All students will report to their 3rd period classes and we will watch the live stream as a building.

Congratulations to our academic letter winners!

**********************************************************************************************

Any MHS student who is 16 or older is eligible to receive a Covid vaccine here in the building on Thursday, April 22, from 10:00 am - noon in the library, courtesy of Summit County Health Department.  Students will receive forms and information in English classes today, that must be signed by your parents and returned to Mr. Ross no later than Wednesday (tomorrow).

This is optional for students 16 and older, but you must complete the necessary forms.  If you do not have an English class here in the building or receive the forms for any reason, stop in the Main Office or Attendance Office to receive them

A reminder to all students –

We will be on a 2 hour delay THIS Thursday and Friday, April 22nd and 23rd, for ELA 2 testing.

All students testing must make sure their Chromebooks are charged and ready to go in the morning!

  • Students taking the tests will need to arrive at the regular 7:40 a.m. time and report to the rooms that you are assigned to.  Check with your English teacher if you are not sure.
  • Students not being tested should arrive in time for the 9:45 homeroom bell.
  • If you are not testing but you cannot get a ride later in the morning , you must ride the regular morning bus.   You can stay in the cafeteria or gym for a study hall during testing until classes begin.
  • PLCC, CC+ and CBI students will need to make adjustments accordingly.  You will be expected in your regular MHS classes, and need to communicate with your teachers if you have a conflict.  CBI students should not miss class for work.

AND don’t forget to charge those Chromebooks!

*****************************************************************************************************************

Just a reminder, as the weather gets warmer, shorts, skirts, and dresses need to follow the dress code and be no more than 4" from the knee.

Also, no bare midriffs. Shirts should be long enough to be tucked in.

"Hey, did you know that used paper towels and tissues are NOT recyclable forms of paper? Neither are plastic bags or candy wrappers, and as much as Mrs. Soful loves digging things out of the trash, she would rather see our student body learn how to stop contaminating our collection of raw materials. Recycling helps our community make the most of our natural resource, so please recycle often and recycle right."
