Science- Heat and electricity packets :)
Mystery Doug Monday! :) here is the link keep it going.      https://mysterydoug.com/
Parents will need to give an email address to have access the videos.
Students will need to know the difference between conductors and insulators. They will also need to be able to identify insulators and conductors in their everyday lives.  Students will also learn the different ways electricity is created and used.
Vocabulary words to know
conductor
is a material which electricity, heat or sound can flow through. An electrical conductor conducts electricity. The ability to conduct electricity is called electrical conductivity. Most metals, like iron and copper, are electrical conductors.
A conductor is a material that allows energy to flow through it quickly. Simply definition

 Insulator

a material (as rubber or glass) that is a poor conductor of electricity, heat, or sound. insulator.

An insulator is an object that does not let energy pass through it easily. (simple definition)
