Dear Parents and Guardians,
My name is Kathy Esterle and I will be your child’s third grade teacher this year. I am looking forward to teaching your child. I would like to share a few things about myself.
I graduated from University of Akron 2005 in Early Childhood Education. I then completed my Master’s Degree from Marygrove College in 2010 in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. In 2014, I completed my Reading Endorsement (K-12) at Walsh University. I am in my 9th year teaching 3rd grade at Nolley. I student taught under Mrs. Pappas and was very lucky to have the opportunity to become a Manchester Panther. Before becoming a teacher I worked for 14 years at Akron General Medical Center in the Planning and Development Center and The Women’s Center.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.
My goal as a teacher is to help each of my students to reach his or her fullest potential and to instill in them a love for learning. I will respect each child as an individual and offer concern and understanding for their problems. I will work my hardest to help each student achieve the goals of the academic content standards set by the state of Ohio.
Your support is important to the success of your child in meeting these expectations as well. Supporting the discipline plan and making sure that your child completes homework and reads at home is a must. If you ever have questions or concerns, please call or stop in to talk with me.
I am looking forward to an exciting year!
Mrs. Kathleen Esterle
