I am a graduate of Springfield High School, received my bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Akron, and earned my master's degree from Marygrove College.
Personal Information
I have been an Intervention Specialist here at Manchester High School for the past 19 years and wouldn't want to teach any where else. I love the kids, the community, and my co-workers! I have 4 children who also attend Manchester Schools. I consider myself a true "Panther" at heart.
Philosophy
I believe that all people have strengths & weaknessess. As we grow and develop, it is important to learn to use our strengths to overcome our weaknesses. As a high school Intervention Specialist, I want my students to leave here with skills necessary to be a successful adult. My hopes is that my students will be successful employees, good citizens, and a true friend to those in their lives. High school can be a difficult part of growing up, but there are many valuable lessons to be learned both academically and socially. I feel it is my job to help my students make a positive transition in both of these areas into life after high school.
