Seniors of the Month

Congratulations to Ryan King and Logan Knoebel on being selected the

September Seniors of the Month.

Ryan is a member of the Cross Country team and Drama Club.  He is a member of National Honor Society and the President of WSFM.

Logan is a member of the basketball team and marching band.  He is a member of the National Honor Society and the President of the Marching Band.  

Congratulations again to Ryan and Logan!

ACADEMIC CHALLENGE TEAM NEWS: 

The Academic Challenge team will NOT have practice after school this Wednesday, Sept. 26th.  We will have practice this Fraday, Sept. 28th at 7 am.  Our first meet will be at Our Lady of the Elms next Monday, October 1st.

ART CLUB NEWS:

Art Club will be having a meeting this Friday directly after school.  All Art Club members should plan to attend.

BBQ NEWS: 

ATTENTION BBQ CLUB MEMBERS:

If you want to get a 2018 BBQ Club shirt, they are $10.00, and a sample is hanging in room 201!

BLOOD DRIVE: 

Students wanting to sign up for the Blood Drive on Sept. 27th should sign up with Mr. Ankrom or Mrs. Christy in 204.  You must be 17 or 16 years of age with parental permission form.

Next French Club meeting will beTOMORROW at 7:00 am in room 209.  We will find out what is happening in France by watching a news broadcast and having a French breakfast!

This week is Banned Books Week.  First celebrated in the 1980's.  Banned Books Week was created to celebrate the freedom to read.  Books are still being banned and challenged today.  A challenge is an attempt to remove or restrict materials, based upon the objections of a person or group.  A banning is the removal of those materials.  Come to the library and celebrate your freedom to read!
