On March 22nd, Manchester High School celebrated "World Water Day" with a school-wide assembly that recognized the best student projects that dealt with the theme of the importance of water. The projects were made possible this year by an EIG grant from the GAR Foundation and included projects in Social Studies, French, Algebra, Geometry, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Technology & Multimedia classes. With the help of a team of dedicated teachers, over 40 student projects were displayed and awarded at this assembly which addressed many important issues dealing with conserving and protecting our freshwater. Thanks to the students for their hard work, all of the teachers involved, and Mrs. Soful for spearheading the application and execution of the grant!
